Friday 28th June 2024

Sealing the edges of by-the-yard crinoline, is ‘this season's must-have skill.

This synergy of using crinoline fabrics with a see-through lightweight fabric.

Denise has created a technique that helps you to use this fabric in blocking and manipulating. Denise will show you how to design and make a hat in 1/2 scale and trim the hat-formed shape.

Level: Intermediate and advanced. You must have knowledge of cutting and fabrics. You will be making your own pattern for this hat

Denise is the expert in manipulating and sealing crinoline/netting and has proved that this style and use of fabrics is a triumph on a hat. Denise will show you how to make a base that can hold this fabric and make patterns for the shapes that look flattering on the head. She will then show you how to cut, manipulate.
