EXCLUSIVE FOR MILLINERY BY DENISE INNES-SPENCER

Demonstration tutor, Denise Innes-Spencer is an experienced qualified teacher and a regular staff writer for ‘The Hat Magazine’. She is creative director and founder of The British School of Millinery and recently co-founded The British Millinery Association.

This two-hour demonstration is designed to introduce you to this nylon mesh fabric. Demonstration leader, Denise Innes-Spencer, will give you inspiration to use this fabric in new and exciting ways.

This fabric is a premium quality nylon mesh which can be bought in large fabric sheets. Whilst not normally used in millinery, it has similar properties to crinoline, yet allows you to create larger structures and accentuate your creativity. This demo will whet your enthusiasm to use this nylon mesh and learn new techniques which are transferable across a range of nylon-based materials.

This trim has proved so popular that this demonstration has been created. It's the unique finished edge that is puzzling makers and Denise shows you an easy way of making these finishes.

This demo is suitable for both improvers and more advanced students.

Trimming with 'by-the-yard nylon mesh' making nylon fabric bows and shapes that fill in areas and decorate a hat or headdress.

This material has the added advantage of being waterproof, due to its nylon content. A unique selling point for a material that can be used all year round, used to trim felts and fabric hats.

This demo shares the love for crin by teaching 'new' ways of working. Applying skills and techniques devised and created by Denise Innes-Spencer.

This demonstration is for milliners who have an understanding of millinery terms and is suitable for improvers and experienced milliners only.
